We are a nurse led clinic specialising in medical aesthetic treatments.
What exactly is medical aesthetics? Medical aesthetics consists of a number of treatments, leading to a pleasing improvement of the skin and complexion, the improvement of wrinkles and much more. These treatments must be performed by a nurse-specialist or a specialist-doctor. They are slightly more invasive than say a beauty treatment, usually with a noticeable improvement either instantly or within a week. The seeking of a medical aesthetic treatment is the natural progression for the client who has traditionally looked after their image either with good homecare products or regular beauty therapy.
The team consist of three dedicated aesthetic nurse specialists: Marea Brennan Thorns, Stephanie Green (clinic directors) and Paula Shurrock. All three nurses have accumulated twenty five years of specialist experience in aesthetic medicine, between them. Each week they offer sixty hours of dedicated treatments slots at the clinic assuring their clients convenient appointments and regular availability.
The clinic was founded by registered nurses who have built MBNS on the principles of their nursing profession: excellence in client (patient) care and understanding and empathy for their clients seeking skin rejuvenation. Clinical governance is provided by an aesthetic and general medical team. This coupled with their commitment to their own professional self development has led them to be one of the most sought after aesthetic nursing teams within the country.
The ethos of MBNS clinic is to deliver the highest standards of skin rejuvenation medicine to their patients. To this end Marea and Stephanie have built a multi disciplinary team of aesthetic nurse specialists, an aesthetic practice doctor, a visiting aesthetic-plastic consultant surgeon and beauty therapists.
