Paula is a dedicated aesthetic nurse practitioner who joined Marea and Stephanie at MBNS eight years ago. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1984 and has worked within the NHS gastro intestinal and gynecological surgery and then whilst raising her family of four was a lead nurse in geriatric medicine in the private sector.

Working with Marea and Stephanie closely in the early days, Paula soon became a very experienced practitioner and qualified as an advanced soft tissue injector. Paula has a passion for all things natural. She enjoys living in the countryside in rural Oxfordshire, and is a keen gardener. This lifestyle emulates the approach she takes to her clients’ treatments. She has trained  her eye for treating in a subtle, non invasive way. Working with the client she accentuates naturally their best assets.

Paula is also one of the first nurse practitioners to be validated by Allergan as a muscle relaxant injector of which she is very proud. In her day to day work, she may consult and treat ten patients daily seeking soft tissue augmentation or muscle relaxants using the a variety of dermal fillers including hyaluronic acid or collagen.

Paula is also experienced in delivering IPL photorejuvenation and hair reduction treatments. She successfully piloted the MBNS Clinic Profiling scheme in Oxfordshire, which featured in the February 06 issue of the Journal of Aesthetic Medicine. Paula is also a trainer for soft tissue augmentation.

Having had little or no education in sun protection, I reached my late 30's with some tell tale signs of burning on Bournemouth beaches!  Starting at the basics, a good skincare regime was in dire need to address the skin texture and tone of my skin and SPF of course! A muscle relaxant was my first experience of softening out that constant frown....I loved the results. Soon to follow were my deep nose to mouth lines with a hyaluronic acid and wow! - I have never looked back.
